Getting started¶
CatalystData is available as a SaaS offering through the Azure Marketplace. Subscribing provisions your account — there's no software to install, no infrastructure to configure, and no servers to manage.
1. Subscribe on the Azure Marketplace¶
Find CatalystData on the Azure Marketplace and subscribe. Marketplace billing is metered, so you're billed through your existing Azure invoice rather than a separate contract.
2. Your account is provisioned¶
Subscribing creates your CatalystData account automatically. You'll receive sign-in details for the account owner at the email address associated with your subscription.
3. Sign in¶
Sign in at your CatalystData URL with the credentials from step 2. From there:
- Invite your team and assign roles — see Roles and permissions
- Turn on Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on for your organization — see Entra ID SSO
4. Connect a data source and add your first check¶
Follow Your first connection and check — it walks through adding a connection, discovering tables, adding a check, and getting alerted when it fails.
